【Just Pause EP.5】Are You Too Hard On Yourself?
How many of you ask extremely highly of yourself? Even more so after you’ve become a parent? You have meals to prep, house to clean, work to get done, kids to take care of, all while finding time to make sure you look the part. So, when things do not go the way you’ve carefully planned, it can feel extra frustrating. This perfectionism mentality can be exhausting, as well as common. On the extreme level, perfectionism have been linked to depression, anxiety, OCD, and other mental, emotional, physical health problems.
Fortunately, we can all ease back a little bit and really look at how well we are truly doing. In this meditation, Jessica invites you to restructure this mindset and examine its validity. With the same type of love and care we give our children, are we willing to share some of that nurturing to ourselves?
